Terms & Conditions
Booking Terms – $400.00 (non-refundable) deposit per person in full within 7 days of receiving your booking reservation. Once we’ve received your deposit, your group is booked!
NOTE: Payments of deposits must be paid in one payment. If multiple payments are received for the single invoice, there may be a $60 administrative fee incurred.
Cancellation Policy –
30 or more days prior to Scheduled Departure – 25% of the total (less deposit already paid)
8-29 days prior to Scheduled Departure – 50% of the total (less deposit already paid)
7 or less days prior to Scheduled Departure – 100% of the total (less deposit already paid)
Paparoa Track Slip -In the unlikely event of a track closure due to a slip or a natural disaster, we will endeavor to provide you with alternative arrangements, such as the following:
A alternate Ces Clark-Pororari closure itinerary with Day 1 & 4 being the same
Alternative Pike29 Memorial Track
A refund (less the non-refundable deposit)
Wind closure –If in the event of severe wind, the track may close for a period of time between Ces Clark and Pororari Huts. Due to these DOC imposed restrictions, then the group will return to Punakaiki where meals will be provided and an alternative trip will be offered, subject to conditions. Accommodation in Punakaiki will be offered, subject to availability.
On Day 3 of the trip the group will hike from Punakaiki 16km up to Pororari Hut, hiking out Day 4 as originally planned. If guests choose not to hike on Day 3 up to Pororari Hut, this will mark the completion of the trip.
Changes to Terms and Conditions - The operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any future bookings you may make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
Travel insurance – We strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in the event they are unable to make there departure. There is no flexibility on the above cancellation policy.
